Who are the Australian people?

Australians are a culturally mixed society. Australia has embraced migrants from all over the world. Many of those came  directly after the Second World War from parts of Europe and the Middle East.More recently migrants from Vietnam and other parts of Asia have settled into Australia.  Today  Australia is a multi-cultural society with the immigration policy a global one.
